Joseph Strauss is a multimedia journalist and creative writer originally from Toronto, currently living in New York City. A staff reporter for JTA, his work has also appeared in Semafor, Grist, the Oregonian, the New York Jewish Week, the Forward, and SB Nation. He graduated from the University of Toronto and the Columbia Journalism School, where he is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in documentary filmmaking.
